Form the Herald Journal 9/18/08…

Utah State University is sticking to its policy that Internet writers and photographers cannot receive press credentials — a decision that leaves the Web site TrueAggies.com with no Aggie coverage.

Those credentials are essential for the media because they allow an individual to have commercial-grade cameras (defined by removable lenses and tripods) at USU games.

“I think they are making a mistake,” said Craig Peterson, TrueAggies.com’s creator. “I am quite a bit more disappointed than I thought I would be.”

What a bunch of BS!!! USU athletics think they are hot stuff. They believe in their own little heads that they are too hot for anyone to cover and that people should get on bended knee and worship them. Let them stay in their own little world of make believe. There are few who want to cover their loosing Football team anyway since they can't even win one game. Some of their losses are by over a 50 point margin. How pathetic! It would be funny to stick MC or SV against them as it would be a hard fight with USU probably loosing in the end.

I feel bad for trueaggies.com and other local dot coms who have taken pride in a home team only to be told where to go by a bunch of spoiled babies who are over paid by Tax dollars up at USU. Something that is even more irritating is that they are telling everyone to come to their own official athletics website instead. What are they afraid of? A little competition?

Soon after they pull their head out and come to reality, they will be begging anyone to come take some professional pictures and do a story on their loosing Football team after they have burned their bridges with everyone. In the mean time, I think the Tax payers should demand that USU’s funding be cut with regards to the Football. If they want to loose, let them loose at the expense of private donors exclusively!!!
