The fruits of the leftist campaign regarding Moral Equivalency are ripening! What a bounty we are reaping. From the Presbyterian Church’s divestment campaign against Israel to their publishing the latest book about the evil Bush Administration plot which is commonly called 9/11. The author David Ray Griffin has called “the United States the world’s chief embodiment of demonic power.” The Presbyterian Churches leadership has been captured by leftist doctrine for many years. I first became aware that they had left the planet when they called for the total elimination of all firearms from civilian ownership. Some time ago I wrote a letter to the HJ were I quoted from one of their great luminaries. In an article which was published in their official organ, he suggested that it would be a woman’s duty to submit to rape rather than risk injuring the perpetrator. Now that’s moral clarity!
Our illustrious educational institutions have been brain washing our youth for some time with the belief that all cultures are morally equal. That is judging different groups and cultures with judgments and these judgments are simply a product of our own culture. Therefore you cannot really judge another culture because your judgments are not any more valid than some aboriginal headhunter. This is a direct result of the rejection of religion the embracement of secular humanism.
You see evidence of this all of the time. Journalists seem especially, to have adopted this curious belief system. I read the other day, an article by Dennis Hinkcamp (who is also a freelance writer for the HJ) in the Salt Lake Catalyst Magazine. Being a pacifist he argued that since the US had used atomic weapons (twice) we had no right to keep them from Iran. Just gives you goose bumps all over thinking about such warm and fuzzy logic.
This country is dissolving before our eyes. With brilliant thinkers like Howard Dean heading the Democratic Party (who called all Republicans evil) and people like Michael Moore multimillionaires it kind of makes you wonder how much longer we can last. It is pretty much agreed by many economists that the United States Government is already bankrupt. We have written far more post dated checks than we can hope to cover. Does this fact even dawn on anybody? How crazy is it that people continue to elect the same people who have gotten us into this mess?
Can any Democratic Republic persist without people of moral character running the show? And more importantly, without a concerned and directly involved citizenry keeping things honest how can any country that I want to live in survive? It seems pretty clear that Bush and company are pursuing an open Mexican/US/Canada agenda or greater North American cabal. How much longer do you think you will be able to own firearms, etc. when countries like Mexico and Canada have equal say with your life? When faceless men with hidden agendas call all the shots and determine how you will live your life. Kind of scary isn’t it?
