A CALL TO ACTION!

Your Papers Please!

Approximately a year ago Congress attached another bill, without debate, to an emergency spending bill. That (now) law, requires all states to follow certain procedures, some of which have not even been agreed upon yet, for issuing drivers licenses. No matter what you prefer calling it, this is a national ID law. There will be a centralized database with everyone’s personal information on it, including fingerprints and most likely a Radio Frequency Identification Device (RFID). Other requirements can be added later by any Federal Attorney General. Both Canada and Mexico will have access to this database. Any state which refuses to not go along risks losing all Federal Funding as well as its citizens ability to board aircraft, open a banking account, enter a Federal Building and Lord knows what else. This all occurred without it being debated in the Senate! Now that’s democracy in action. This bill goes into effect in two years.

I remember being told that the one thing that made American better than Russia was that you could go anywhere you wanted without permission. Remember how the Gestapo (in the movies) would confront persons (usually on trains) with the demand “Your Papers Please!” It is just a matter of time before this occurs here. Did you know, that any airline will refuse to sell you a ticket without you showing them a valid drivers license? If you ask to see the law which makes this a requirement they refuse to do so, because the law is secret! Sort of a Catch 22 don’t you think? I never thought that I would live to see the day when we would live in a country, which America is becoming. And even worse this is occurring with hardly a whimper from its citizens. Who here believes that terrorists will not be able to get fake ideas which will pass muster, same with criminals? It took North Korea about two weeks to counterfeit the then new One Hundred Dollar bill with its so called security codes. So the real issue boils down again to being able to control the peasants. Even new automobiles give off a signal which the government can monitor with the 22 National Transportation offices spread throughout the country. What you haven’t ever heard of these? That was one of thousands of little executive decisions which the Clinton Administration slipped through.

With the RFID the government (and probably anyone else) will be able to monitor your movements through key chokepoints. And you thought 1984 was just a fantasy. Now the fourth estate (you know the Media) has been all over this. What they haven’t? Why they are protecting us from “Domestic Wiretapping” and data mining of your phone records. Now don’t you feel safer?

Peace
